Government won't release grooming gangs report

These unthinkable crimes tear neighbourhoods apart and leave lasting scars that go beyond the direct victims. Extremists may also seek to exploit legitimate concerns to sow further division. The Government will continue to challenge these views and to help communities unite.

They fear releasing the report might untie instead of unite those close knit communities. Which, of course, they are not.

This is an ongoing story about child grooming and child abuse that's been festering and occasionally surfacing over several decades, even though its only in the last 20 or so years that it's been seized on and promoted by those with questionable agendas. However, they may have inadvertently done some good by sensitizing the authorities to growing public unrest...

The child grooming scandals arose because the police and social services were more afraid of offending the largely middle class race relations industry than protecting vulnerable children from the white underclass. If the ethnic communities wished to retain the respect of society at large they would have marched through the streets of Rotherham demanding the heads of the police and social service chiefs on pikes. But they didn't. Instead they had numbnuts such as Tommy Robinson arrested and declared that there work was done.
