A cringeworthy combination of hyperbole and ignorance from the deputy leader of the Liberal Democracts in the European Parliament. If you're going to gone on national radio at least do your research or find someone else who has.



The transition period and mutual desire of the UK and EU to agree a sensible free trade agreement makes it is ludicrous to compare the consequences of Mr Johnsons deal to those of a no deal Brexit.



Leaving the EU will come with a cost and there are valid concerns on a number of issues but currently we can only speculate on what will actually happen since there are numerous variables which cannot be predicted.
