Iceland currently have 29 deaths per million. (=0.0029%) Infected figures are totally unreliable and hugely under-represented.

Yes as a total percentage of their population.

Having tests ~10% of their population and finding a 4% positive disease rate I don't think comparing deaths to the total population is a good reflection of the diseases kill rate.

The Stats are all there for you do apply Maths to -

They've conducted 44,468 tests, accounting for approximately 12% of their population, and of those have confirmed 1785 cases of Corvid19, so approximately 4% of people tested have the disease, of those 10 have died (0.56%) and 5 others are critically ill (given the sample sizes any one of those dying would have a significant impact on the %s).

Barry is closer, I'm sure, but I was going by the study, not these Worldometer figure which cannot be used.

Iceland's death rate is over 0.5%

and higher per million population than the Average.

How is that calculated?

Not that I know of.  Do you?  I believe the Iceland studies put it lower.

People can try and make light of coronavirus by pointing out the number of people who only have mild (but unpleasant) symptoms or who have no symptoms at all.  But those cases are are part and parcel of the mechanism for spreading the disease.

Make light?  When?  I would like the truth.

Spreading the 'disease', as you call it, is fine, if it's no worse than the flu.  Again, as if people have been brainwashed, you seem to assume it is the bubonic plague or something, and then try to fit your opinion around that.

Hyperduck Quack Quack

To date the UK has had 133,000 confirmed cases of covid-19, of whom 18,000 have died.

That figure is alarming.  The huge number of people suffering serious symptoms, and how many of those go on to die.

Are there other studies that put the figure higher than 0.37%?

0.37 at most, based on these 3 studies.

While I'm sure everyone would welcome more statistics showing fewer projected deaths I think 0.37% is high and concerning.

I would also question the commentary.

Further studies showing that the chance of fatality from Covid-19 is much lower than previously thought.
