Screwstation and Toolfix both operate click and collect — phone the order through and get a collection time to minimise waiting...
On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...

I believe that if someone is incapable of ordering something on line, they don't deserve water.
A hand up, not a hand out

Javert

it's only certain ones that are open - for example the one in Warrington is open but people were reporting 90 minute wait to get in yesterday.

But no, all the big stores are closed, it is too specialised for the little ones and all the internet firms have closed their warehouses because they are ball less bastards.

I am getting feed up with this bug.

<t>In matters of taxation, Lord Clyde\'s summing up in the 1929 case Inland Revenue v Ayrshire Pullman Services is worth a glance.</t>

Toolstation and Screwfix can be your Saviour — they have them and they can be collected from your local branch, but the service is click and collect...

Thanks Pat. Screwfit don't seem to have the Jubilee clip fitting but I will give them a try.

According to what I heard today, certain branches of B&Q are now open but with limited number of people in each store.  You have to queue up outside like the supermarkets.  Apparently it's on their website which ones are open.

Thanks Javert.

Sorry Ollie, but I am not into censorship at the best of the times, so tell the Holy Rollers that they can put up with me or ban me. Either way, my God isn't bothered by a few high words and if theirs is then that makes Him sound a right pompous bastard.

I tell you, this board is getting really fucking priggish.

To be honest Greg, my phone has a slot where I put in the four pennies. But you might be right. Time to move into the modern age.  :D

Well at least the Nineties, no need to go mad  :D

True, but I like to order by phone. We are in the middle of swapping over from Windows 7 to Ubuntu and my boy reckons that we are currently prey to no end of cybernet fraudsters. Personally I think that he is talking through his arse, but since he is the only one in the family that knows how to turn these electric adding machines on, I have to roll with the punch
