I live in Lincolnshire, and we are surrounded by air bases. I here jets flying around on a daily basis, but to be honest, how the hell is that going to spread a virus?

Contrails, Wiggles. I thought you'd know about those.

A hand up, not a hand out

I'm kind of surprised that the Red Arrows can't pretty much do what they want - they were already out training last week.

I'd be surprised if this wasn't overturned but it may depend on ensuring the safety of the actual pilots and their ground crew rather than the safety of the actual flight itself.

Skywriting is pretty much banned in the UK by private pilots I think, at least outside of displays?

Nemini parco qui vivit in orbe

Given that the CAA have just busted a private pilot who used his engine test flight to scribe the letters NHS in the clouds round the corner from Blackbushe airport I would not hold out a lot of hope
<t>In matters of taxation, Lord Clyde\'s summing up in the 1929 case Inland Revenue v Ayrshire Pullman Services is worth a glance.</t>

Captain Tom trudges around his garden for a few quid and breaks all records. He brings a bit of cheer to the news channels and as a fillip on his 100 birthday the Red Arrows want to give him a fly past. Oh no they can't allow that it not essential travel! What rubbish. Anything that gives the country a bit of fun and something else to talk about in these miserable times is to be encouraged. Perhaps BJ will step in and sort it out in between his essential naps. Perhaps I'll drop him a line and get the ball rolling.
