A criminal killed a police officer and was arrested and charged, and may well face the death penalty depending on which state it's in.



Trying to equalise this in order to excuse the police murdering black citizens is ridiculous, unless underneath it all you agree that it's ok to kill black people cos they're probably criminals.

I don't need to read your links or listen to your petty lectures, I'm well aware of the various racist events going on around the world including (which you missed out) Japanese clamping down on Chinese businesses, and black people being thrown out of Chinese establishments, and white people (foreigners) being discriminated against in other countries as international travellers and so 'spreaders' of the disease.

Tricky one there Bebe. The only real alternative would be to blame the bug on The Donald. But at the very mention of Trump's Torment, all the liberals I know would squeal with delight and start masturbating themselves into a decline.



Still, there is always room for a compromise. Apparently Liverpool FC have bowed their heads in homage to some black guy killed by a white cop. Its dangerous to my bank balance . Feck me the Mrs is drinking Grey Goose like there is no tomorrow and 'we' have decided as the Gym is closed  for the foreseeable Im to build one at the end of the garden .

Despite almost 40,000 deaths from covid-19 so far, lockdown has probably saved an even greater number of lives. It might have contributed to a handful of murders or suicides, but then it's probably prevented others.  More domestic murders but less street murders.

And I do think that being incarcerated at home is detrimental to one's mental health. I long to find a burglar in the garden just so i can see if the oregon chain on my chainsaw lives up to its maker's claims.

i have a mate who has spent a life time terrified of catching practically everything and is currently locked away in fear of catching whatever is fashionable while living in a miasma of bugs and media hysteria, none of which can be healthy.



Meanwhile I have spent the last few months walking the streets in the hope of finding a coffee shop that is open and pottering in the garden and falling arse over teakettle because Madam wants one part of it (the garden, not the teakettle ) moved to the other end. I am knacked but reckon that any traces of the Chines Pox have been eradicated by Old Sol, whereas my mate probably won't make it to the weekend as a result of peeing blood.



Any thoughts on the matter?

Well....



If the NHS had been overrun by the plague I would have died of septicaemia in early may and my mate over the river would have died of his heart attack (which it took the welsh NHS a week to get round to looking at anyway) last week.



I think a number of thirtysomethings are living in total petrification that they will not get their next botox jab (moira said one bloke i noted on the bbc website proclaiming this was probably gay, do they take botox in the rectal wallto help the penetration I wonder?)

Yes you are well named the forum Jester,and btw the Swedish epidemiologist behind their lauded and more relaxed attitude has admitted they got it wrong and were it to occur again the lockdown would be stricter. :-P

To be honest, Swedes don't count. Sunlight bouncing off glaciers is all very well, but it is not as good as the real thing. but to my way of thinking, a lot more folk are going to die because they are afraid to live than will die from the Chinese flu
