Oh dear we are in a thin skinned mood,anyway yeah I make typo as often as any.......tried looking on the menu bar after you post  (top right) first icon is a pen click that and you can edit your post  :roll:

As much as I hate to side with mister grumpy, the edit is only available until someone else comments. It then disappears. Would be good if this could be changed.

The fact that they think this kind of underhand trickery is more beneficial than detrimental to their campaign says something about the sad state of UK politics.

The fact that Labour voters think that putting Corporation Tax back at 26% is going to hit big business shows exactly how switched on these Twitter users are not. Tesco, BP, British Gas, Ladbrooks all pay Corporation Tax. Who is going to ultimately pick up the tab? Joe Public, So lets all vote for higher prices with Comrade Wurzel.

The important point is that Boris has promised to keeping the triple lock on the state pension and the bus passes and the Christmas coal allowance. God bless BoJo. At tis rate Churchill and I will end up with pensions as big as Pappy !!!

Not all voters are as mercenary as you are and this kind of behaviour will put some traditional Conservative voters off giving the party their support.



I know a few people who usually support the Conservatives but can't bring themselves to support Mr Johnson. They've been left with few options since they won't support The Brexit Party Ltd.

The Conservatives used to see themselves as the sensible party, the party of business, the party of sound economics, the party of long term pragmatism for the country.



Doesn't this kind of action damage their long term reputation and make them look like some kind of scam artists trying to trick you into giving your bank details to a Nigerian prince?  



I have no doubt that past generations of Tories are horrified by this and it has no place in any serious party that wants to govern the country for long periods of time.



What I suspect is that they don't actually care about any damage to their own reputation - what they are trying to do is to plant the idea in people's minds that fact checking organisations might not be what they seem and can't be trusted - that is the seed that they are trying to plant and it has nothing whatsoever to do with democracy.
