My personal text is displayed in the box with my name and avatar.
Dynamis also has written one.

Ah yes I see thank you.

If I fill out personal text, where does that appear?

Profile signatures are there to add a bit of flair, they don't have to indicate your desire to kill all Tories :)
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Not aimed at anyone in particular, but why not add a bit of personal text in your profile?

I deleted the ones I added on the old forum, but if you want to be "Rab C Brexit" again, Thomas, or 3.14159, BeeElBeeebebebb, then help yourself in "Modify Profile"
These things personalise the forum and add a bit of interest in my opinion.

And don't forget there are avatars in the gallery, or you can upload one of your own.

I am easily confused - so why if I write a post does it still register as 'new' on my feed? Should it disappear until someone replies. I'm clicking like a buffoon on my own posts.   ::)

It might have been a temporary glitch - yesterday there was one post for me that kept showing up as a new post no matter how many times I read it.

It does make it easier to see the train of thought though don't you think?

But I don't need or desire to quote ALL the previous comments.

LOL Maybe - but it makes life a lot easier for those reading the threads and that's what counts if we want input.

Ahhh that looks right. I shall become a double clicker.   :D

My problem is quoting without quoting all of the previous messages  in a thread.

It seems to take twice to disappear.
