Perhaps if new babies could talk as soon as they were born they would answer so many questions.

They would probably make more sense than some of the people on this forum.

I am absolutely sure of it!

How do people with no way to smell, talk, hear, or see have thoughts?

What do they think? Do they think?

A further one;

How do people with all that + no (or barely any) sense of touch (feeling in most of their body) interpret or interact with the world?

what do you call a man with no body and no nose???

Nobody nose.

That reminds me of a docu I saw years ago with a Scottish SAS guy.

"And when they torture you, keep your mouth shut. But if they offer you food get it down your throat"

We really had to rip the piss out of that "I'm so ard I slit my own throat and shove my food down!"

If there is a sixth sense maybe it comes to the fore when all other senses are missing.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

They think of what they see or maybe what they want to see . We more or less do the same but get a helping hand with other senses ,people missing sense  make up with it as their other ones  become sharper .

Indeed, maybe we really do have a sixth sense (also supposedly a 'third eye') and maybe that is also sharpened so they perceive things we simply can't?

Have you had dreams and woken up and thought it was a nice dream but you couldn't remember what it was?

;D  Yes

Barry

Have you had dreams and woken up and thought it was a nice dream but you couldn't remember what it was? A warm abstract feeling but with no real substance. If this person has a sense of touch, they will understand the shape of things that they can touch, but not much else.

How did Helen Keller manage? Because she did.

Great question, I'll give it some thought and reply in a bit.
