The questions are stupid.

Ok So a question for everyone - what questions would show a clear left/right candidate?

I did it a while back. It shows I'm not a right wing nut job, as some on the left would have us believe.

Papasmurf will be along shortly to complain that the questions were wrong.

My result was:

-6.0 . . . . towards the left
-2.72 . . . towards libertarian

Much the same as Gandhi, it appears.

I'm surprised by my result because I think of myself being only slightly to the left but a little on the authoritarian side.

I also notice that the term 'neo-liberalism' is used to describe the economic right, like Thatcher.  Someone on here accused me of being a neo-liberal because they thought it meant  a snowflake leftie.  Well, it doesn't - so there!

Stick it up then 😂

Maybe it's slightly weighted to the left, as I said I thought I would be way farther over to the right.

I might not be an expert but I do know enough to correct you when you're wrong!

Ooh, you're a proper lefty.

Yes but I wasn't so shocked as I might have been. Some of the questions were a bit loaded, I was surprised that I was so clearly on the W/E equator line and left (?) well the jury is still out.

This is the result of my 2nd go having thought more about some of the questions.

Edit - my effort to post the image failed - can someone do it for me please?

Mmmm! Some tricky questions there where I hovered a bit. However if it's an accurate reflection I am in an opposite position in the Green corner at the centre. To be fair I am still considering some of my answers.
