..but was he found "frit for work"?

Really? Link please?

IDS's majority was slashed  at the last General Election, long term campaigning is steadily eroding his majority to the point it is now a marginal:-

Wake up the "sleeping dogs," in his constituency. (Such action came close to getting rid of Iain Duncan Smith.)

Over his deeply insensitive Grenfell comments; you'd think he'd be unelectable, but no, folks lap it up..... what can you do.

Mogg is the real bully here, but of course no one will view it like that; of course he is deeply persecuted by nameless comment by opinionated types on some obscure forum or whatever.

No, genuine comment is not allowed, be it even slightly critical of Tories, for it is 'unbalanced'. Of course it is, only commentary critical of any but Tories....... is balanced!

That's the usual playbook we see on here, it's a bit..Il Duce. But I am unphased. I've seen far worse where random comment sections on the internet are concerned, the stuff on here is mild mild snippety stuff by comparison, it doesn't touch the sides.

Isn't that the whole public relations strategy of this Tory regime? That balance is only achieved wherever and  when the critics are removed. Indeed not new in European politics, and very essential for them when they take this little country  beyond EU influence.
Mogg, is entitled to his opinion, thank god the public are still entitled to judge that opinion as they see it.

Rees Mogg is an honourable man and because he likes a certain old fashioned style doesn't mean he is insensitive.

He has proven himself to be callous and insensitive many times and that is a matter of public record in Hansard.
The disgraceful attack on Unicef is just the latest example.
The man is nasty and totally removed from the problems in his own constituency.

It is Jacob Rees Mogg who should be a ashamed, he hasn't got a bloody clue what is happening in his own constituency.

Rees Mogg is an honourable man and because he likes a certain old fashioned style doesn't mean he is insensitive. What he is is a man of some character who is not found running around beating his chest with apoplexy in  full glare of all and sundry just to satisfy the the dramatic needs of those who are only interested in sullying his name. It is the lowest form of bullying and the constant gutless onslaught by those who themselves denounce bullying when they imagine it is directed at themselves, only serves to encourage those who jump on the very easy bandwagon but who run at the first sign of a retaliation. It is not fair, nor is it clever and represents everything that is weak and cruel.
