I think that one went over Pappy's head  :D

That said, BoJo does appear to be uncharacteristically quiet. Apart from a bit of the usual bumbling around that is.

It didn't go over my head, anyone who believes the opinion polls are an accurate reflection of what the general election result will be have forgotten how badly wrong they were at the last general election. Which left the Tories having to bribe the DUP to stay in power.

It's strange how well they are doing in the polls, isn't it? People must be masochists.

Frankly far too many people are ill informed. It is not their fault, the media/press just do not report what they should be reporting.

I also wonder who the pollsters are asking and where they are asking.

It isn't a one issue election no matter how much the Tories and Brexit party wish it was.

The damage done to millions of people by the Tories since May 2010 is a much bigger issue than they seem to think.

The Tories have angered 3.8 million WASPI Women, plus nurses, doctors, the police, the ambulance service, the judiciary, victims of welfare reform.

(Not an exclusive list.)

I really think it is unhealthy to have a one issue election,

I really think it is unhealthy to have a one issue election, but as the MPs have ignored us since the referendum, it seems to be a leading factor. The electorate are having to tell them for a 4th or is it 5th time that we want to leave!

Having said that, once Brexit is out of the way, or at least is on the way, we have to have policies which are good for everyone in the country.

I have skipped through the 100 odd pages of Labour's manifesto, which has an immense amount of freebies on offer. Free full fibre Internet, free dental checks and treatment, free bus passes, free climate change, no food banks causing redundancies in the Trussell trust, free housing for everyone homeless, a million  climate jobs - all free, rail, mail water, electricity and gas all nationalised making them all much chaper - almost free, Min wage a tenner an hour and firms that can't afford it get a free top up. Free personal care for 1.5 million elderly people. Freedom from wars. Not to mention free real change.

Oh, and free NHS of course with another 150 squillion to get 40,000 extra nurses from anywhere in the world as we will have free open borders.

I think the general impression is, that with labour everything will be free, so perhaps they will be able to reduce pensions and wages as everything will be free. All they need to finish it off is free public transport and supermarkets and we are done.

VOTE LABOUR for a free and green society!

Apparantly the NHS is overtaking Brexit as the electorates main concern. Mr Johnson's obsessive focus on Brexit may not be the deciding factor he seems to think it is.

well round here the reason the NHS is newsworthy is that it has been under the total control of a labour fiefdom for the past 22 years and it is on a par with the third world. Which actually suits most of the patients, who come from it.
<t>In matters of taxation, Lord Clyde\'s summing up in the 1929 case Inland Revenue v Ayrshire Pullman Services is worth a glance.</t>
