I cant find my ususal oysters in asda govan , and to top it off , there seems to be a shortage of deluxe organic tinned haggis .

This has really put the frighteners on me , and more considerate on where i cast my vote at the ballot box in the years ahead.

I suspect he is being economical with the truth and on a wind-up mission.

Would you like me to produce the receipt from my wives food shop at the exact same Tesco today?  I am more than happy to.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

15 hours ago — Some companies are trying to hire prisoners to fill the vacancies via a scheme which allows inmates to undertake paid work on day release.
Food manufacturers and restaurants are scrambling to recruit prisoners to help ease the "desperate" shortage of workers caused by Covid-19 and Brexit.
A lack of HGV drivers, fruit pickers and factory workers has left some supermarkets struggling to keep shelves filled, with everything from fruit and vegetables to bottled water, wine and baked goods severely depleted in parts of the country

Have no recent experience of Cornwall, but in the last two weeks we have shopped at Morrison's, Sainsbury's (Stamford Hill and Dalston), Tesco (Tottenham) to get our usual choices.

In more normal times, our supermarket shopping is confined to Morrison's in Stamford Hill.

Admittedly, no one is yet in danger of starving or going short, but I don't ever remember having to chase around to get our usual favourites — eg, we usually get about two doz 2 ltr bottles of sparking water every ten days or so, but local Morrison's and others have been out for more than three weeks...
On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...

i dont think the union leaders are the point though sheep , and neither are they relevant. Three quarters of the uk workforce from memory arent union members  , and i once told pappy this , and he then retorted they needed to be union members to help cement their long suffering and increasingly fragile working rights and wages , and yet in this thread , pappy is taking the side not of the unions , but of the big bosses and politicians he claims to hate , and siding against the working man and supporting mass eu immgration undermining working rights.

By supporting the EU and rubbishing brexit , he is intrinsically siding against the very thing he claims to support in his ususal hypocritical manner and insane twisting and turning to shout tory bad.
Except for your man and his link telling you all exactly what they think of people standing up to them on another thread remember?

They had done not such thing. The situation here in Cornwall is dire, which you would know if you followed current affairs.  I am glad I am escaping from the hell hole that is Cornwall for a few days at the end of next week.

Nick is reporting he is having the time of his life , and many others who have flocked to cornwall are saying the same.

Face it pappy , you have been rumbled yet again. ;D

I know pappy. Despite nick and many others catching you red handed telling porkie pies about cornwalls devastation and empty shelves that dont exist , you claim all of us on this forum are liars while you are a beacon of truth and all that is right with the world.

No you have that the wrong way around. Brexit was the working class taking back some measure of control and trying to deal with 13 years of tony blair and new labours increased destruction of their working rights wages and living conditions , where they were told by the bosses and politicians to suck it up or an eastern european would replce you if you complained.

You support the erosion of working rights , and slave labour of uk farms , what sort of socialist are you pappy?

I fink you are some sort of tory boss class fifth columinst out to wind us up arent you pappy?

Stop lying about me and talking out of your fundamental orifice.

Well, maybe but I don't care about Smurf in the slightest, I am more in the thinking that Union leaders tried to tell people they should vote to stay in the EU and got told to feck off by their membership, which they didn't take well and now will spite them in any way they can. If the Lorry drivers strike, it won't help them particularly but it will help the union leaders get some power back over their members.

pappy is very easy to understand sheep. In desperation to throw shit , any shit , at the evil tories , he twists himself in knots and will throw any of his "principles" under a bus to scream tory bad.

He is , and always has been , a long term opponent to freedom of movement and mass immigration , and has long made the very same arguemtn about oppressing working rights and wages as im making above , excpet he is now attacking the very lorry drivers quest for increased pay and conditions that he claims to have supported all these years , to shout brexit is bad and its all the tories fault.

Nothing much changes with porkie pie pappy.

i just can't understand why an old union official like pappy isnt standing up supporting lorry drivers in theiir fight for decent pay , and is instead acting like a typical spolit middle class metroplitan elite pining because he can't get his cheap spanish au pair for the despicable pennies he was once paying.

Borkie is right about pappy , he has sold out his former workmates and become a thatcherite!!!
