 Couldn't troops have been deployed to help.

Belatedly they just have been. (This government is always slow to respond to disasters.)

I feel so sorry for those still suffering power cuts mostly up North. Surely this should have been called as a National emergency. Couldn't troops have been deployed to help. Surely they have the skills and fitness to put temp. power lines or at least reach those who are without internet etc.

After so long it must threaten life for some. Hardly anything has been made of it on National news, I can't help but feel that more should have been done.
