He recons he's exempt cause he tested positive on 16th Dec but a picture has just come to light showing him at an award ceremony on the 17th. Looks like that's his weak appeal collapsing. 😂
Now that post had a very short expiry time. Didn't weather well at all.
I have little interest in sport, but I hope he wins the tournament. Then sues them for damages and for lack of preparation time.

Anyone who enters anywhere, after a negative test, could still have picked up the lurgy.  You might catch it standing in the queue, or showing your lurgy papers to a doorman, or inside a venue.  It's not Djokovic's appeal that is weak, it's the irrational thinking and stupid rules that are weak.

"The judge quashed the decision to revoke his visa, saying it was "unreasonable" and the player hadn't been given enough time to respond after being notified of the cancellation."

So, I guess it was immigration who did not abide by the rules.  Oh dear.

Yes , This is the part of the report that Scott keeps highlighting .
Well i highlighted it as it appeared you had read the headline of the report and not the content , which differed from the headline , and tap danced on the head of a pin to say there were little to no difference in transmission.

QuoteIf you are locked in a room with someone with covid you will eventually get it vaccinated or not
Says the guy who tells us he constantly goes into pubs and clubs for a pint and to socialise in a pandemic.

Quotewhere transmission is minimised by vaccines
That word again....".minimised."...without any sort of context.

Like i said mate , the virus is spreading like wildfire among the vaccinated in most countries , and somehow , you seem to be convincing yourself its only among the "unvaccinated" as a comfort blanket.

Novak Djokovic wins appeal against decision to refuse him a visa ahead of Australian Open

World number one men's tennis player Novak Djokovic has won an appeal against a decision to refuse him a visa in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia ahead of the Australian Open.

Judge Anthony Kelly quashed the visa cancellation and ordered the Australian Government to pay legal costs and release Djokovic from detention within half an hour.

Apparently the tested positive recently excuse sorry exemption  is only valid for Australian nationals returning from abroad . Still we will see Monday what they decide

Yes , This is the part of the report that Scott keeps highlighting . If you are locked in a room with someone with covid you will eventually get it vaccinated or not . The Household settings experiment was just that , transmission within household groups and has little bearing to the population in general where transmission is minimised by vaccines

Of course it has a bearing on the population in general, unless everyone plans on isolating forever.  It means anyone who goes to shops, restaurants, theatres, cinemas, travels on buses, trains, planes, boats, are all as likely to catch the lurgy whether they are jabbed or not.  You have provided ZERO reliable science that jabs reduce transmission by any significant amount.

Did you actually read your own link streetwalker?

Let me quote you part of it.

Similar peak viral loads
A study in medical journal The Lancet followed 602 primary close contacts of 471 people with COVID. It documented transmission and viral load in the group.

It found there were no differences in peak viral loads between vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. It also showed only a small decrease in the number of infections in household members between vaccinated and unvaccinated people, suggesting a similar level of infectiousness.

Another unpublished pre-print, which is yet to be reviewed by other scientists, suggests a similar trend in viral load between vaccinated and unvaccinated people, as does a CDC report in the US from July which analysed outbreak data from Massachusetts.

Yeah said the Aussie "you're novax Djokovic "

Oh dear. That is just asking for trouble.

I remember when I was working on a ship in Tiger Bay and some fellow from head office came down and started getting in the way, whereupon the 2nd engineer asked in the politest possible way, "lad, will you no fook off?"

To which the chap replied, "Do you know who I am?"

And the 2nd engineer turned to us and said, "Lads, this poor cont doesn't know who he is"

Sod him. If Diokovic want to plat tennis in Oz then he plays by Strine rules. I don't believe in all this jab hysteria, but he is a guest in another country and if he doesn't like it then he should feel free to f**k off and play with his balls somewhere else.

According to Nigel Farage:

"I am talking with the Djokovic family and they are clear that Tennis Australia, in line with Victoria state law, allowed Novak to come to Australia as he had proof of a positive PCR test within the last 6 months. He was then arrested, his phone and wallet taken."

"When the Australian Home Affairs Minister says Novak Djokovic is free to leave, she is NOT being straight. Unless he makes an appeal, he will face an automatic 3 year visa ban — so has to stay in prison conditions until the hearing on Monday."

Personally, I hope Djokovic smacks the state of Victoria in the tennis balls.  😁
