Just one big opinion piece of irrelevance. If the author is pinning his hopes on Truss a remainer and seriously thinks Johnson didn't have his "Oven Ready" deal signed and enacted, then he somehow is missing the past three years and delusional.

And no, remainers aren't going to force the UK to rejoin the EU through the backdoor. If public opinion changes significantly we might push and have another referendum I guess, but that isn't any time soon. Leavers can sleep tight at night, don't worry guys.

Sure, when we know the Labour party constantly lied about giving people a referendum, like we also know nobody in the Westminster party can win an election without the leave vote. Good luck with that then. When they know the populists got them a referendum and trust us for our honesty.

Mmmm food for thought. Why are we surprised? They have never accepted the referendum result and I guess never will. Until we move well away for EU rule they will think they have a chance.
