Didn't want to start a new thread on this, so dug up an old one.

I think Corbyn and Hodge have far more to answer for than I initially thought..

And then this..

If I knew this in Dec 2019, never would I have voted for that f**ker.

In fact, a full scale investigation into what Corbyn and Hodge knew and didn't act on should be launched immediately, and a nice Syrian glasshouse quarters should await them.

Hodge should go there without delay.

I really don't know who I feel more sorry for. I don't like many of Labour's policies or their attitude but I have to say that leaving Corbyn as even the titular leader is doing them perhaps more harm than good. On the other hand Corbyn looks like a broken man and on a purely human level I feel sorry for him too.

His performance in the House is pretty abysmal, perhaps he is doing the job alone without benefit of that hand up inside his jacket but he really ought to step aside and put someone with some energy in his place . I am so relieved that he isn't in No 10 although I think his days were numbered in any case and once they had the power this leadership challenge would have happened. He was only ever in place while he curried popular favour. I have seen reports of a suggestion that the leadership contenders take turns on PMs questions. A good idea - a baptism of fire from the opposition might also help BJ to get over his current boredom with the event.
