Despite the many current problems with the NHS

I had the BMW 1200RT before, I've now got the K1600GT, 1.6L straight six, goes like stink. Don't know the Intruder but had a GS550 before and a Bandit 1200 loaner once.

I had a mobylet motocane before upgrading to a Honda 90 , not having to help by pedaling up hills was a game changer for me .
Someone stole it from the pub car park one night that I left it there after having too much to drink and my biking days were over at 18 .

To go to motorcycle rallies a BMW K75S with a Squire ST1 sidecar attached. (Carries all the camping kit so my wife's motorcycle does not need to carry much luggage.) My wife has a Suzuki VS800 Intruder.  Neither of us would have a Hardly Dangerous if we were given one. I looked after someone's Hardly Dangerous for six months whilst they were in hospital. It was a pile of unreliable junk.

You've never actually said which bike you ride.

There is no reason at all for either of us to go to a gathering of Hardly Dangerous owners and also neither of us would go to the USA.

You've never actually said which bike you ride.

Thanks to both. My wife was worried she would have to cancel her planned trip to the "Simmer Dim," motorcycle rally in Shetland but now she won't. (It is a "bucket list," event.)

That's one reason for you to go to the US, Sturgis, near Chicago.

Despite the many current problems with the NHS, my wife got a doctors appointment the same day, and got two scans and saw  a specialist. All within less than a month. Fortunately despite what could have been something nasty. It just requires a three month course of medication and no surgery. (We are both very much relieved.)
