That seems to be the problem. There are plenty of anti Boris MPs, but he is still popular with the party grassroots.

It looks like the Tory Party has been stricken by a bout of SNP-itis.

I can see the Tory Party being vulnerable to decay on both sides, with right-wingers resigning in protest and centrists defecting to Lib Dems or Labour.
