They don't 'earn' anything .
Not legitimately, perhaps, but some work quite hard at maintaining their state funded status...
On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...

You won't accept that they work 35 hrs so it's pointless. Part Time workers don't count in the average, it's only full time employed.
Look the referenced facts are they work on average 31.7 hours (because like the UK they have a lot of part time workers).  Your sad denial of this is at best bizarre.

Or maybe a datum line as to the actual minimum wage.

How much does Pappy's layabout army earn on the dole ?

No that's the defined standard working week for full time employees above which it's all voluntary overtime (for premium pay).  The average worked in France is still 31.7 because just like the UK with its average 32 hours, France has a lot of part time workers too.

And you have so failed to back your boast.  Here's a reminder:

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

I already knew that. But the link I posted has a lot of clarification of that on it.

I would agree and as I mention every time low pay topics come up  any company whos employees need welfare top ups should have a ceiling on what the bosses can earn

Frankly such bosses should be barred from employing anyone.

There are far too many rogue employers in Britain and far too little enforcement.
