No , plod and the CPS didnt pusue Wyman because there was no compliant against him from Smith  and they had zero chance of a prosecution .

Looking at these 2 points, I don't think a complaint is necessary where a child has been groomed into sex.  A child cannot consent to sex.  It's definitely illegal.

Why did they have zero chance of prosecution?  There is more evidence so far, than there is for the Brand case.  In both cases, a victim has claimed an illegal act happened.  The difference is, Brand denied this, but Wyman admitted to an intimate relationship.  Which one do you think is more likely involved underage sex?  And which one have the media and politicians passed judgement?

Obviously aint gonna happen to Wyman.  The victim admitted it, it was illegal, but the establishment don't care because Wyman makes money for the industry and doesn't go against them.

The Metropolitan Police says it has received a number of sexual offence allegations against Russell Brand in London and elsewhere in the country.
It says the alleged offences are all non-recent.

A Met statement said: "Following an investigation by Channel 4's Dispatches and The Sunday Times, the Met has received a number of allegations of sexual offences in London.
"We have also received a number of allegations of sexual offences committed elsewhere in the country and will investigate these.
"The offences are all non-recent.


"Officers will be offering specialist support to all of the women who have made allegations."
There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
Brand denies all the allegations against him, says all his relationships were consensual, and has not been charged with any offences.

Actually, as I recall the press got plenty of mileage out of Wyman and Mandy Smith. Now it is Brand's turn

Mileage maybe, but did they gang up and target him?  Did they investigate him?  Did they go out looking for other 'victims'?  Did politicians target him or try to censor him?

I can't say whether he has done some dodgy stuff, many years ago, but given the options, that women are more confident now, or that he amassed 8M subs on youtube over the last year or so, I know which is more likely.  The media have made that clear.  They didn't gang up against Bill Wyman for grooming a girl of 13 and sex at 14.  It's only Brand they want.

The situation is obviously just like Julian Assange.  It's not about his supposed crimes.  It's about him criticising and exposing people who have lots of power, such as Bill Gates, and big pharma, and the arms industry.  The media is simply protecting the financial interests of these rich people.  They could have done this years ago, they don't have anything new on Brand, but he wasn't such a threat to them before.

Can't stand the bloke which is probably due to TV stations giving him a platform to spout shite about almost anything without hardly ever being challenged
That aside the accusations from numerous sources would fit with my opionion of this character , lets say Im not suprised
