Very much so, looks like Keir Starmer is handing Johnson his ass, about time there was some opposition to question and probe what the Govt are doing. Wouldn't want to be Maria Caulfield and Nadine Dorries with that doctored video of Starmer, doubt he will let that slide.

Yes that's true, but, again I think there's a pretty significant minority who will just assume that Keir Starmer or anyone who's against "our Boris" is wrong, without bothering to look into any detail or even listen to the full Q&A.

Still - it's going to be pretty difficult for Johnson to dodge the blame here because I suspect that in the end, most people in the country including most of his supporters will be impacted or have their loved ones by this virus, so it becomes impossible for him to imply that it's only happening to somebody else.

The strange thing is that in the modern social media age, certain politicians like Johnson and Trump seem to be able to establish a cult of personality around themselves, such that a significant portion of the population will simply support them no matter what they do.  Johnson has already misled parliament twice in the last week - in the past that would have triggered major repercussions - now, it's just all gone the next day.

As I said, we now have football politics - I support team X - I've always supported team X.  Trump summed it up best when he was rumoured to say "I could kill a baby on live television and my base would still vote for me".

The logic is "Johnson GOOD."  "Anyone who say Johnson bad = BAD".  Therefore anyone who points out that he is lying must simply be lying themselves.

Boris Lied, hard to believe. SO now Boris says there will be border checks NI to GB, why couldn't he tell he truth about his improved T.May deal from the start. But can he get the border infrstructure and the 50,00 officials in place by Jan ?

What post Brexit trade?

I wonder how these salaries and ancillary costs (offices/pensions/insurances/computer systems etc....) are paid, would it be a percentage of the import tariff set aside or is this cost passed on to industry in the form of a charge for an import direct to the importer.
