What a load of old rubbish that woman talks.
She is effectively advocating open war on Russia and threatening Russian territory.
The she went to do the same to China - has she missed her meds??

How can a war about which passport a few million Russians hold, possible be worth such consequences?

Just for those who are not such what those are....

So Putin makes outright and veiled threats, would he use nukes, should we bow to his threats?

For me no we should stand firm and continue to supply the Ukraine you cannot give way to such threats.

It has to be to proceed , and resist . Bring our cards to the table with care and caution, but resist at all costs.
The threat , will never go away now. It's there.
Only one answer can nullify his threats. It should  have done so already. And the  worry is ,he doesn't yet get it.
The answer is the west has thousands of their own nuks, and the means of delivery.
What frightens ,is the sight of his Parliament or whatever that was applauding this maniac.

Supplying Ukraine with arms isnt halting the Russian advance .

There is not a lot we can do about that and whatever Truss says nobodies going to push the Russians completely out of Ukraine nor re-take the Crimea . That ship has sailed .

For sure supply the arms to give them a fighting chance but it is the sanctions that will hurt Russia more and its the sanctions that should stay in place ,increase even  until Putin has gone and a more international freindly government stands in its place

Its in these times that our world  leaders earn their corn by de-escalating the situation . The easy option is to let it run out of control and though yes 'standing firm' is the prefered option and bowing to threats is not one we all hope there is another option somewhere that gives people the chance to live their lives without war .

I can't see that we have any choice.

Putin is clearly so crazy that we can either face him down or run up the white flag. I suppose we can take some solace in the fact that in the event of a nuclear war and in view of their performance in the Ukraine, the Russian war heads will fall off the rockets.
