Nick, stop using your ignorance for personal attacks. I have been interested in batteries for around 65 years. (I even made one at Grammar school.) A wide range of materials and materials in combinations can be used to make batteries.
Making batteries in quantity for commercial use is very different to making them for specialist applications.
What has your interest in batteries got to do with anything? The fact is you'd never heard of Graphene until Posty mentioned it, otherwise you wouldn't have made your ridiculous comment about not being able to make batteries without Lithium. Caught out once again, and now your trying your usual deflection tactics.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

The only thing you know is what you Google after someone has given you a piece of evidence, and your statement shows just that lol
Graphene was developed in 2004, it's primary use is as an alternative to Carbon Fibre cause it's extremely strong. So once again you've been caught out lying again old man.

Nick stop putting your ignorance on others, graphene batteries have been in development since 2004. Anyone who follows science and technology knows that.  The 80000 tonnes of lithium per annum is public domain information.

Firstly, you hadn't even heard of Graphene batteries until you googled it yesterday, now your the big expert, secondly, we're talking about EV's not phones, whereby Smurf stated that JLR will need 80,000 tons of lithium to make EV batteries.

Go on then what current mobile phone are you supposing uses a graphene battery?  (as opposed to a graphene enhanced Lithium battery)

You can say nope as much as you like.

Quite, specialist use but not to make 1/2 a tonne of car battery.
WTF do you know about EV batteries? Like a US visa, you've never even seen one, I've literally seen thousands.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Graphene enhanced Lithium Ion maybe but true Graphene batteries that break that reliance on scarce Lithium (the actual point at hand)?  Without evidence that they are, I'm saying nope.

About what? Are you on some kind of drugs?
You stated that you can't make EV batteries without lithium. Do I detect another lie by Smurf? I can quote your post if you've forgotten.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

It's already in commercial use in phones, and it isn't too far off for EV's.

I don't doubt it for a moment Pappy.

You are never wrong as you have told us once again :)

Don't say that.

I have a bad heart.

Pappy is never wrong. If you don't believe me just ask him
